The organization of the annual Anomalous Absorption Conference rotates between appointees drawn from the primary scientific organizations attending the conference. These have historically been LANL, LLE, LLNL, NRL and UCLA. Appointees are officially voted onto the Board of Directors at the business meeting held during the annual conference.
